HAILWOOD LEADS TASMAN POINTSGARDNER OUT IN N-ZEALANDMcRae leads Matich and Gardner on first lap at Levin.WELLINGTON (NZ), Wednesday, January 19 -Two major crashes and three written-off Lolas is the disastrous toll in the 1972 Tasman series -and only two of the eight races have been run. Frank Gardner's Lola crashed in the ninth lap of the Levin race (second round) last Saturday and the works driver will not now be able to contest the· final two NZ races.
